Description
In the Durmitor region and Žabljak, as an inexhaustible source of unique and authentic locations for artistic programs in nature, Wild Beauty Art is held with the continuous patronage of the Ministry responsible for tourism, and with the support of the Municipality of Žabljak and the Žabljak Tourist Organization, with a wide network of partners in northern Montenegro, but also at the national and international level. Vocal-instrumental ensemble Synthesis The ensemble Synestesis combines the musical roots of Macedonian folklore heritage with contemporary arrangements, using the full range of original Macedonian folk instruments such as kaval, bagpipes, zurla, tapan, tarabuka and tambura. The ensemble was founded in 1994 with the aim of exploring the invaluable wealth of traditional Macedonian music. Over time, the group has gained a reputation as an ensemble that deeply understands, preserves and promotes Macedonian traditional music. In addition to numerous Macedonian musicians such as Toše Proeski, Vlatko Stefanovski, Naum Petreski and Chromatic Point, the ensemble has collaborated with renowned musicians and ensembles outside North Macedonia such as: Bilja Krstić and the Bistrik Orchestra (Serbia), Hunsu Şenlendirigi (Turkey), Mauro Pagani (Italy), DJ Boza (Australia), Plavi Orkestar (Bosnia and Herzegovina). The band has collaborated with philharmonics and symphony orchestras such as the Macedonian Philharmonic, the Burgos Philharmonic in Salamanca, and the Vietnamese National Opera. Given the numerous concerts held around the world (Europe, Japan, Israel, the United States of America), the Macedonian Chamber of Commerce declared the ensemble an honorary ambassador of Macedonian culture in 2006.
