About MonteGigs

MonteGigs helps you discover and share music events like festivals, concerts, parties, raves and gigs in Montenegro. You can browse events, filter by type, date, or location, and even add your own events (need Telegram or Google authentication) to share with the community. Most of the functionality that requires the Bot to uniquely identify you (such as setting reminders, sending a digest, user settings, and the subscription feature) is only available with Telegram authentication and hidden from non-logged-in users or Google users to keep the interface clean.

How to Use

• Use the search bar to find specific concerts and festivals
• Filter events by date, city, genre, or type using the filter button
• Click on any event to see more details
• Add your own events: Click the "Add Event" button (requires login), or add an event through the Telegram bot @MonteGigsBot
• Subscribe: Access the subscription feature from the user menu to receive dayly (11 am) updates about new events
• Send Digest: In the Filter menu, use the "Send to Telegram" button to get a formatted list of your filtered events sent directly to your Telegram
• Set Reminders: When viewing event details, click the bell icon to set a reminder and receive a notification before the event (at 12am)
• Like Events: Click the heart icon on any event to like it and receive the event details in your Telegram chat

Event Posting Guidelines

• To post your own events you need to login to the system through Telegram or Google.
• Regular users can post up to 5 events per day and have a status "Not Confirmed" until the event is approved
• Users with Creator role can post up to 50 events per day. Creator role can be requested in user settings if you have already added at least 3 events

Ownership Requests

Users with the 'Creator' role can request ownership of a venue or artist page — look for the 'Request Ownership' button. Ownership grants rights to edit the venue/artist pages and associated events.

Promo and Deals

This feature is currently in test mode. Users with the Creator role can request promotions or suggest deals for events they created or have rights to edit. You can find the request button on the event page: click it, fill the data, and save. We will review and approve the request.

Promotion is a non-monetary option where we become information sponsors for the chosen event. Just spread the word about us (tag, link, logo, etc.) when you post about the event on your social media. Sometimes we can promote events if we like them and think music lovers must not miss them.

Deals are promotions where you propose a small benefit for MonteGigs users — for example, a promo code for ticket price, a welcome drink for the first 10 people with a code word, a menu discount, or anything similar. Keep deal descriptions as short as possible.

Current restrictions

• The promotion block on the main page shows up to the first 12 promo events.
• Instagram posts can feature only 5 full-page promo events (first come, first served).
• Maximum two promo events per single week for the same venue/organizer.
• Deals page is currently in development.
• Promo events will appear first in all search results (web app and Telegram inline search) — in development.

Promo/Deal Events advantages

• They get a promo badge over the poster image.
• They appear in the promo carousel at the top of the main page.
• Events with the "Deal" promo type appear on the "Deals" page.
• In search (on the web app and in Telegram mode), promo events are listed first.
• In the daily Telegram digest, they get a full slide and are tagged as priority.
• We add an additional Instagram story for your event post.
