#PodgoricaCulturalSummer2025 #Concerts🎶 The concert of the flamenco quintet Vientos del Eresma will be held on Sunday, August 3, at 9 p.m., on the plateau between the building of the JU NB "Radosav Ljumović" and the City Parliament. Vientos del Eresma is a flamenco spectacle that unites the three basic elements of this art – voice, dance and music – but presents them from a unique perspective, bringing them closer to the sensibility of the people of Castile, their music, landscapes and traditions. The idea of connecting flamenco and Castile came from the origins of the ensemble members, who come from Segovia, and their strong emotional and cultural connection with this region. This ensemble takes us on a musical journey that extends from Castilian folklore to the deepest layers of flamenco, with a subtle influence of jazz. The repertoire, which was entirely conceived and composed by Dani Hernández, is deeply rooted in flamenco, but carries clear references to the Castilian tradition. Within flamenco forms such as seguiría, malaga, alegría, guajira, verdiala, taranta, bulería and tango, the melodic outlines of traditional Castilian music are present. The influence of Agapito Marazuela – a famous musician and folklorist from Segovia – is also indispensable. The lyrics of the songs are a combination of original and traditional, flamenco and Castilian verses, and some of the lyrics are also composed of verses by Antonio Macad. The concert is part of the Podgorica Cultural Summer event program.
