🎼This year's edition of the concert cycle "Composers from the Shadow" is dedicated to the famous French composer and pianist of the Romantic period Louise Faranque. ✨️The concert, which continuously affirms the works of domestic and international authors, will be held on Friday, March 6, in the large hall of the KIC "Budo Tomović" at 8 p.m. The program includes two piano quintets (No. 1 Op. 30 and No. 2 Op. 31), which will be performed by pianist Vladana Perović, violinist Marija Đuranović, violist Uroš Lapčević, cellist Ana Zakrajšek and double bassist Zoran Zakrajšek. 🎻Violist Uroš Lapčević graduated from the Academy of Music of the University of Montenegro in the classes of Prof. Petar Ivanović and Panta Veličković. He completed his academic master's studies in the class of Prof. Tomislav Milošević at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Pristina - Zvečan. During his education, he won first prizes at the Republic and Federal Competitions of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. As an active participant, he improved his skills at many master classes, of which he highlights his collaboration with Professor Peter Langartner from Austria. In the period from 2011 to 2012, he was engaged as a teaching assistant at the viola department of the Academy of Music of the University of Montenegro. He has established artistic collaboration with the Belgrade symphony orchestras "Stanislav Binički" and RTS, the International Youth Orchestra of Southeast Europe, as well as with many foreign and domestic chamber ensembles, of which his work in the string quartet "Quartteto Montenegro" stands out. Since 2014, he has been the leader of the viola orchestra "Operosa" at the Festival of Classical Music and Opera in Herceg Novi. As a soloist, he premiered the Concert Rhapsody for Viola and Orchestra by Bohuslav Martinu with the Montenegrin Symphony Orchestra at the Montenegrin National Theater in Podgorica, as well as Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No. 6 with the eminent violist Miša Berkut. Since the founding of the Montenegrin Symphony Orchestra in 2007, he has been employed as the leader of the viola group. Welcome!
