Muzička "Priča o gradovima"
Description
The concert Musical Story of Cities brings the Podgorica audience a unique journey through the musical metropolises of the 18th century – Venice, London and Hamburg. The young Montenegrin violinist Jelena Jovović, together with the Sopplimenti Musicali ensemble, consisting of Alejandra Segovia (violin), Tom Braunling (violins) and Omri Avidov (harpsichord), will present works by great Baroque composers: Antonio Vivaldi (Trio Sonata in B minor, Op. 1, No. 11, RV 79), George Frideric Handel (Trio Sonata in G minor, Op. 2, No. 5, HWV 390) and Georg Philipp Telemann (Trio Sonata in E-flat major, TWV 42:Es1). The Sopplimenti Musicali ensemble, which brings together young musicians – students of the University of Music and Applied Arts in Graz – is dedicated to discovering the beauty of early Baroque and Baroque music, performing it on historical instruments. The concert will take place on Thursday, October 30, 2025 at 8 p.m. at the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts (CANU) in Podgorica. Admission is free. The event is organized in cooperation with the Miloš Karadaglić Foundation, which awarded Jelena Jovović a scholarship for education in the field of artistic music for the academic year 2024/2025.
