Piano duo Ana Mihaljević/Dejan Krivokapić will perform on Tuesday, June 3rd at 8 pm on the stage of the Church of the Holy Spirit – in the Concert Hall of the Music School “Vida Matjan” in Kotor. These two artists, originally from Risan, are known to the Kotor audience as professors at the Music School, who regularly participate in school concerts as piano assistants to students during their performances, but also as one of the rare professors who are active on the music scene, constantly researching and presenting themselves with new recitals. This time they will present an interesting program called “In the rhythm of film and hits”, while the host will be Marija Gajić, their multiple award-winning former student, now a colleague - piano professor at ŠOSMO “Vida Matjan”. A professor at the Music School “Vida Matjan” for more than two decades, Ana Mihaljević completed her primary and secondary music education at the Kotor Music School in the classes of professors Marina Dulović and Nataša Tomović. She graduated from the Music Academy in Cetinje in the class of Prof. Boris Kraljević, and received her master's degree from Prof. Bojan Martinović. She has been active in concerts since 2005, when she performed over a hundred times as a soloist and as a member of chamber ensembles in Montenegro, France, Italy, Russia, America, Denmark, Austria, Singapore, South Korea, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Macedonia. She regularly participates in concerts of SPD "Jedinstvo" Kotor as a piano assistant in choir performances. Dejan Krivokapić is also a long-time piano professor at the Kotor Music School, where he also received his primary and secondary music education. He graduated from the piano department at the East Sarajevo Music Academy in the classes of Professors Zorica Dimitrijević-Stošić and Dejan Stošić, and received his master's degree in the class of Professor Aleksandra Radosavljević at the Academy of Arts in Bijeljina. He attended master classes with eminent professors such as Konstantin Bogino, Svetlana Bogino, Jokut Mihajlović, Vladimir Ogarkov, Biljana Gorunović, Sonja Radojković and others. /M.D.P./
