Muzika nas spaja – Zagrebački komorni orkestar
Description
Music unites us” – Zagreb Chamber Orchestra in Kotor As part of the Montenegrin tour “Music unites us”, the Zagreb Chamber Orchestra will hold a concert in Kotor, on Thursday, September 18, in the Church of the Holy Spirit, the concert hall of the “Vida Matjan” Music School. The start is scheduled for 8 p.m., and admission is free. The program features works by famous masters of classical music – Antonio Vivaldi, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Bela Bartok, Isaac Albeniz and others. The audience will be treated to a special performance by soloists, violinists Noami Konforta and Petromila Marica Jakas. The Zagreb Chamber Orchestra is made up of young, highly educated string players who perform baroque, classical and contemporary music with the desire to bring the beauty and richness of classical music closer to the audience. The orchestra was renewed in 2004 at the initiative of violinists Mladen Dervenkar and Marko Mađarić, and its tradition dates back to 1937, when it was founded by the famous musician Rudolf Matz. Over the years, prominent artists Diane Pascal, Tonko Ninić and Orest Shourgot have made significant contributions to its development, while today it operates with great success under the leadership of violinist Petromila Marica Jakas. The audience in Kotor can expect an evening filled with top-notch music and the message that bears the name of the tour – that music unites and connects people regardless of borders. @kulturnicentarkotor @zagreb.chamber.orchestra
