March 22 | 7:00 PM Alexander Yakovlev's Piano Concerto We invite you to an evening of grand piano concerts at Bijela Dvorana, a chamber hall with a special atmosphere, ideal for a solo piano recital. The program includes two monumental works that reveal different eras and facets of piano performance: from the romantic philosophy of the 19th century to the intense drama of the 20th century. Program: ▫️ Franz Liszt — Sonata in B minor One of the greatest works in the piano repertoire. Written in 1853, this sonata was revolutionary for its time. ▫️ Sergei Prokofiev — Sonata No. 8 The last of Prokofiev's famous "war sonatas," composed during World War II, this work is distinguished by its powerful inner drama, contrasting its disturbing, tense episodes with its light, almost dreamy moments. 🎹 Performed by Alexander Yakovlev We look forward to seeing you at this special musical evening.
