Filipp Usov will perform three masterpieces by Sergei Prokofiev—the famous "war sonatas": ✨ Sonata No. 6, op. 82 ✨ Sonata No. 7, op. 83 ✨ Sonata No. 8, op. 84 Sonatas No. 6, No. 7, and No. 8 are not only the pinnacle of Prokofiev's piano legacy but also a true chronicle of the era. They were composed during World War II and embody the drama of the era, tragedy and hope, the personal and the historical.
