Mira Škorić

The famous singer Mirjana Škorić was born on July 8, 1970, in Belgrade, where she received her primary education, and also completed secondary commercial and music schools. She is originally from Lika in present-day Croatia. Mira inherited her musical talent and love of singing from her father Vaso, who was a very popular musician at the time, so in 1986 she performed at the music festival "Raspevana jesen", where she won second prize for her interpretation of the song "Vrati se jeseni". Škorić has worked with singers such as Ceca, Lepa Brena, Vesna Zmijanac, Aca Lukas, Željko Bebek and Ana Bekuta. She has received various music accolades, including the Life Achievement Award from the Union of Serbia's Music Artists (SEMUS) in 2019.
